A large pair of Art Nouveau figural pewter vases by WMF, circa 1900, cast with sinuous twin handles and a maiden below flowering branches, clear glass liners, stamped 'OX' 'WMF', 36.5cm high.Qty: 2Condition report:Both retain excellent shape with no significant dents or distortions. There is the odd minor "ding" to the main body of the vase. The finish to one is more patchy than the other. The definition of the casting remains quite strong. The glass liners have survived very well, no chips, cracks, and the shaped rims retain a subtle bevel which we take to be original, rather than disguising any historic polishing/ chipping. They sit very well in the body of the vases.
