AMENDED DESCRIPTION:A small Chinese huanhuali wood cabinet, possibly originally for a mahjong set, recently used as a coin collector's cabinet, hinged door with cock beaded central panel opening to reveal four drawers, the lower drawer with partitioned into eight square and one long compartment, brass swing handle to the top, the lock with a fancy brass escutcheon, 25.3cm wide x 21.3cm high x 17.2cm deep.
A 1920s Mahjong set. The wooden brass-mounted case with carrying handle and sliding front with Chinese characters, opening to reveal five drawers, with bone and bamboo tiles. Along with 4 extra spare tiles, a collection of bone scoring sticks, horn Ming pot with four wind discs in bone, four miniature bone dice in a rectangular wooden box with a sliding lid, plus an (associated) instruction pamphlet by The China Arts Trading Co. Measures approx. 24cm x 16.8cm x 16.5cm.

The box is also in relatively good condition with wear to the box being age and use related, however no major noticeable damage.
