Football: A collection of assorted 1940s football programmes, mostly of Yorkshire interest, to include Sheffield Wednesday, Halifax Town, Sheffield United, Leeds United as well as other clubs; together with a Sheffield United v Manchester City 21st January 1939 programme. Twenty programmes in total. Mixed condition, wear to spines and some slight tearing as expected with age. Please assess photographs. (one bag)
Barcelona: An F.C. Barcelona, match worn football shirt, worn by Gerard Lopez, in the Opening Match at the City of Manchester Stadium, 10th August 2003, between Manchester City and FC Barcelona. The shirt has been signed by twelve members of the Barcelona team, most notably Ronaldinho. Additionally, this lot comes with the match programme from the game, and an FC Barcelona pennant. Provenance: The shirt was obtained by Clive Wilkes, Former Premier League Referee, who was Fourth Official in this fixture and comes complete with a signed letter from Wilkes. Additional Information: Gerard Lopez (1979-) is a former professional Spanish footballer, who played for Valencia, Alaves, Barcelona, Monaco, Recreativo and Girona, as well as making six appearances for the Spanish national team in 2000.

A SIGNED FOOTBALL, match ball signed by the players from the West Bromwich Albion v. Manchester Utd. game on the 6th March 1971 (which ended 4-3 to WBA), the ball was given to Bobby Hope who donated to the supporters club, where it was won by the vendors father, signatures include George Best, Bobby Charlton, Jeff Astle, Len Cantello, Asa Hartford, Brian Kidd, Ray Wilson, Pat Cerand, ball in fairly good condition with some yellowing and crazing to surface, signatures all in same felt pen are in good condition, ball with a wooden plinth with brass plaque stating donated by Bobby Hope with the date, with a small collection of football programmes, to include pirate programme for the F.A. Cup Sixth Round Replay between Aston Villa and Burnley at Villa Park, 6th March 1957, assorted finals and international matches etc.
