Cuatro matrices de madera, talladas para la impresión xilográfica correspondientes a un tarot completo de 78 cartas. Probablemente Norte de Italia. Siglo XVIII.Medidas: 45 x 27,5 x 3 cm. cada una.Desde el Museo Fournier de Naipes de Álava, nos informan con respecto a nuestras planchas que cada uno de los palos, de estilo italiano, se componen de 10 cartas numerales (algunas con su valor en número romanos) y 4 figuras (con su identificación al pie). Las cartas de triunfo, 21, tienen asimismo su identificación en la parte inferior (excepto  la correspondiente a la "muerte", como suele ser habitual) y la numeración que corresponde a cada carta en la parte superior, también en numeración romana  (exceptuando el loco, "Le Fou", considerado el precedente del comodín o joker, que va sin numeración).Revisando algunas barajas de la colección del museo para tratar de identificar algo más fácilmente el modelo al que podrían corresponder nuestras  matrices, nos indican que tienen similitudes con algunos tarots denominados "piamonteses" por las piernas peludas del demonio en la carta XV, o las "lágrimas" que caen de la nube de la carta XX... ), pero mencionan que la numeración se corresponde con el tarot de Marsella, lo indica la numeración de la carta XX, que se corresponde con el Juicio, la  XXI "Le Monde", y la XVI " La Maison Dieu".
