Registration - XKO 303Chassis No. - AM300/1118M.O.T. - ExemptOdometer - 32,976Hampson Auctions are proud to present a potentially unparalleled opportunity for enthusiasts and collectors alike to acquire a 1956 Aston Martin DB2/4 MKII coupe restoration project which has already benefited from a recent, comprehensive engine recommission and which is offered at No Reserve. 'XKO 303' was originally supplied by Martin Walter Ltd of Folkstone & Margate - the original dealer plaque is still displayed in the car. The recent engine restoration included a full strip-down and rebuild, all conducted to a high standard, with bearings and piston rings replaced and cylinders honed to ensure optimal performance and a replacement distributor oil pump drive fitted. Particular attention was paid to the cylinder head, where all valves were re-ground and clearances meticulously set through shimming. This engine work has set a solid foundation for the restoration journey ahead, and is a major step in enabling this beautiful and highly original DB2/4 MKII to return to its former glory. Don't miss this rare opportunity to acquire a piece of automotive history and embark on a restoration project which promises to yield a truly rewarding result.A truly rewarding and unique project offered at No ReserveThe subject of a recent and comprehensive engine overhaulA wonderful opportunity to acquire one of Aston Martin’s post-War sports cars from the early David Brown era Introduced in prototype form in 1949, the DB2—so named for company chairman David Brown—struck an appealing balance between gorgeous aluminum coachwork, sporting driving dynamics, and a characterful twin-overhead-cam inline-six. Things only improved three years later, when the foundations that had made the DB2 such a successful sports car were built upon to create the Aston Martin DB2/4—a groundbreaking Frank Feeley design that introduced a subtly raised roofline, additional seating for two rear passengers, and a revolutionary “hatch back” offering unparalleled access to the luggage compartment. Always a rare model, even in more common closed configuration, total DB2/4 production amounted to just 761 examples.
Registration - P704 PTMChassis No. - SAJJGAFD3AR010872M.O.T. - May 2024Odometer - 78,318This highly original Jaguar XK8 Convertible has the rare honour of boasting just one former keeper. The odometer reads just over 78,000 miles, a mileage supported by the full service history, and the vendor says it was supplied new by Hadley Green Garage in Hertfordshire “and still has the original dealer sticker in the rear window”. It is finished in a subtle and classy metallic blue with a cream interior, and both are described as being in ‘good’ condition. The interior also features Jaguar’s famous walnut wood veneer, which is described as being in ‘excellent’ condition. The folding convertible roof is electrically operated, and has a matching cream interior liner. What’s more, the 4.0-litre V8 engine and automatic transmission are said to be in ‘excellent’ condition, as are the electrics. This cherished Jaguar XK8 comes with the original book packs, which include the driver’s manual and service booklet, detailing the car’s full service history. With the Jaguar brand set to be reborn in 2025, this is a great opportunity to buy a genuine modern classic. The Jaguar XK8, known by marque aficionados as X100, was introduced in 1996 to revive the storied XK series. It was offered as a two-door coupe or convertible, powered by the all-new Jaguar AJ-V8 engine. Intriguingly, the architecture was derived from the Jaguar XJ-S and was related to the Aston Martin DB7 – both cars were based on a 1980s concept that never reached production. The beautiful styling referenced the original Jaguar E-type with a long bonnet and graceful lines, while the enchanting interior was a luxurious haven that reflected Jaguar’s range-topping aspirations for its new grand tourer. The model range was further developed with a high-performance supercharged Jaguar XKR version, and was later updated with an enlarged 4.2-litre engine. In summary:· Cherished Jaguar XK8 Convertible offered for No Reserve· Only one previous keeper and includes original service booklet· Classy combination of metallic blue with cream leather and walnut interior

The Rapide is a four-door, four-seater, high-performance sports saloon, which Aston Martin introduced in early 2010. It was first presented as a concept car at the North American International Auto Show in 2006 and the production version was shown at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show. The Rapide name is a reference to the Lagonda Rapide, a four-door, four-seater saloon produced by Lagonda, now a part of Aston Martin. The new Rapide is the company's first four-door fastback saloon since the Lagonda which was discontinued in 1990. It is based on the DB9 and underpinned by the Aston Martin VH platform. The first cars rolled off the production line in May 2010, initially built at a dedicated plant at the Magna Steyr facility in Graz, Austria. This example is presented in the very attractive colour combination of metallic grey with a tan leather interior and silver wheels. The overall condition of the car is very impressive, the service record is meticulous, with a record of 14 services having been carried out, the majority of them being at Aston Martin main dealers. The coil packs were also replaced in the last few thousand miles. Offered to auction with a UK V5C registration document, comprehensive history file and MoT test certificate, this Rapide looks like great value. Consigned by Fraser Smith
Introduced in 1993 to the public, the handsome new DB7 was Aston Martin's first six-cylinder model since production of the DBS had finished in 1971. Styled by Ian Callum, its lines were evocative of earlier Aston Martin models and elements of the DB4/5/6 could be seen in its design. Arguably one of the most attractive looking cars ever produced by Aston Martin, the DB7 was well received and attracted new customers worldwide with its traditional layout of the curvaceous two-door coupé body and powerful six or twelve-cylinder engine. At the Geneva Motor Show in 1999, Aston Martin introduced the six litre Cosworth designed and built V12 engine with 24 valve cylinder heads, developing 420bhp and limited to 185mph. Other changes included chassis and braking upgrades, the much more powerful engine demanding greater quantities of air intake and cooling, as well as uprated brakes. Ian Callum enlarged the grille, added fog lamps and re-styled the valances to give the car a more aggressive look. This lovely low milage Mendip Blue with cream leather trim example of the Vantage Volante was registered on the 2nd November 2000 and supplied by Stratstone of Mayfair. The car was serviced regularly by Stratstone of Mayfair until 2006, which must have been a no expense spared philosophy boasting 12 stamps in that time. In 2007 at just 22,000 miles this example was then subject to a category D insurance claim, the owner decided to have this work completed and as such the car has been owned and enjoyed without issue ever since. The book pack and service schedule shows further stamps with main dealers and specialists alike the most recent with NVS in April of this year alongside a new MoT. A very attractive V12 tourer in the best colour combination, upgraded sound system with sat nav, electric seats and electric roof ready to enjoy the summer in a classy Aston Martin. Consigned by Mathew Priddy 47,000 MILE EXAMPLE IN THE VERY BEST COLOUR COMBINATIONOFFERED WITH A COMPREHENSIVE SERVICE HISTORY, RECENT SERVICE & MOT
The Aston Martin V8 Vantage was first introduced in 2005 as a successor to the DB7. It features a sleek and aerodynamic design, with a powerful V8 engine and a six-speed manual transmission. Under the bonnet, the Vantage is powered by a 4.3-litre V8 engine that produces 380bhp and 302 lb-ft of torque. It can accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 4.9 seconds and has a top speed of around 175mph. The exterior of the Vantage is characterised by its low, wide stance and classic Aston Martin design elements, including the signature front grille and distinctively shaped headlights. This particular example was purchased new by our vendor in 2007 and was very tastefully specified in California Sage with an attractive dark green leather interior. The car has been used sparingly, having covered only 13,500 miles in the last 17 years. The car has always been particularly well maintained, with 12 main dealer service stamps and a further two from Bamford Rose, an independent Aston Martin specialist. Given the particularly low mileage and single enthusiast ownership from new, the overall condition of the car is understandably particularly impressive. Supplied to the auction with a large history file, MoT test certificate valid until April 2025, a V5C registration document and including the cherished registration number, this Aston Martin is one for the collector or discerning enthusiast who wants something a little different to the regular grey or black cars we so often see. Offered with no reserve. Consigned by Fraser Smith
description to followIntroduced in 1993 to the public, the handsome new DB7 was Aston Martin's first six-cylinder model since production of the DB6 Mk. II had finished in 1971. Styled by Ian Callum, its lines were evocative of earlier Aston Martin models and elements of the DB4/5/6 could be seen in its design. Arguably one of the most attractive looking cars ever produced by Aston Martin, the DB7 was well received and attracted new customers worldwide with its traditional layout of the curvaceous two-door coupé body and powerful six-cylinder engine.Power was supplied by an all alloy double overhead camshaft supercharged 24 valve inline six-cylinder engine which produced 335bhp @ 5750rpm. The supercharger was supplied by Eaton who also provided blowers for the mighty eight-cylinder Vantage that was produced at Newport Pagnell at the same time as the DB7 at Bloxham. Regarded by many as the purest modern Aston Martin, the DB7 will undoubtedly be a collectable car for years to come and is equally at home in the city or out on the open road.Originally registered on 17th May 1995 this manual transmission Aston Martin presents very well. The Silver coachwork is virtually unmarked and the grey leather interior has obviously been well cared for. The vendor is a fastidious collector and looked long and hard for a manual transmission example that was in the right condition for him. Hence the reason why he has owned this car for the last 12 years. A very good service accompanies this DB7 and such is the conscientiousness of the vendor, he is putting the car into Aston Martin in Leeds to have a service prior to auction. Fitted with magnesium wheels and a sat nav that sits in the centre consol by the gear lever this six-cylinder DB7 is, to be expected, reported to drive with no known faults. Supplied with a V5 registration document and a fresh MoT together with a host of invoices this well cared for DB7 i6 a true British classic at an affordable price. Consigned by Stewart Banks. A RARE MANUAL TRANSMISSION EXAMPLEOWNED BY THE VENDOR FOR THE LAST 12 YEARS.GOOD SERVICE HISTORY AND JUST SERVICED BY ASTON MARTIN IN LEEDS
