Description
A set of used Nelson Piquet Camel Team Lotus race overalls by Stand 21 from the 1989 Formula 1 season, in yellow with white jersey cuffs and ankles, Velcro fastening belt, hip pockets and central zip, with embroidered driver's name and Brazilian flag, and other embroidered patches for Camel, Stand 21, NGK Spark Plugs, PIAA, Goodyear, Epson and Courtaulds, (worn, some wear at seams, lining distressed, staining in places). Footnotes: Following Nelson Piquet's World Championship title years in 1981, 1983 and 1987, he moved to the Camel Team Lotus team for 1988 and 1989. During the 89' season Piquet was partnered with Japanese driver Satoru Nakajima. The Brazilian scored 12 points that season and finished the championship in 8th place.
