Soumak Rug Caucasus c. mid 19th century, an early and colorful Caucasian dragon soumak with a bright yellow border and a wide array of colors. This piece has a more archaic aesthetic to its drawing than most of the later examples. Some restorations but still useable on the floor, and the rug still reads very well for a soumak with such age. 5 ft. 11 in. x 9 ft. 7 in.
