An Ottoman Flintlock Blunderbuss Black Sea Coast, Probably Trabzon, Late 19th Century With two-stage barrel encrusted in base-metal with symmetrical designs of foliage along the top, part octagonal breech, tang, rounded lock and cock all en suite, wooden full stock partly carved with foliage and fitted with gilt-metal panels profusely set with fluted red corals (corallium rubrum) and imitation turquoise beads in roped settings (minor losses), steel mounts including trigger-guard en suite with the lock, and false ramrod 28 cm. barrel This lot is subject to the following lot symbols: * * VAT on imported items at a preferential rate of 5% on Hammer Price and the prevailing rate on Buyer's Premium.
