A Bavarian Infantry Officer's Sabre Reign Of Maximilian I Joseph (1806-1825) With curved fullered blade (some wear and old pitting) double-edged towards the point, the forte etched along each side with crowned conjoined 'MJK' monogram between a differing trophy and foliage, brass hilt with recessed line borders and comprising ovoidal langets, knuckle-guard widening at the top and clipped into the mouth of the lion-head pommel, the latter with integral back-piece, and cord-bound leather-covered grip (wire binding missing), in original brass-mounted leather scabbard (old crazing) with iron shoe, and two brass rings for suspension 79 cm. blade For further information on this lot please visit Bonhams.com For further information about this lot please visit the lot listing
