Gillian Anderson (as Margaret Thatcher): A skirt suit and blouse Season 4, Episode 1, 'Gold Stick' Custom-made oatmeal-coloured single-breasted jacket with subtle checked pattern on collar and with beige satin lining; together with a matching collarless button-down waistcoat, a fitted, high-waisted skirt; and an oatmeal grey button-down blouse with Peter Pan collar (4) Footnotes: This is Gillian Anderson's (as Margaret Thatcher) first appearance in the series. As seen in the scene where she prepares herself to face press questions on the potential Conservative victory and her appointment as Britain's first female Prime Minister. Margaret Thatcher's term as the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom began in 1979, and ended with her resignation on the 28th November 1990.
