Claire Foy (as the Queen): A silk dress Season 4, Episode 8, '48:1' Custom-made V-neck cream dress with mid-length sleeves and ruched detail to the waist; together with a double-strand simulated pearl necklace with diamantĆ© clasp (2) Footnotes: The episode opens with a flashback to Claire Foy (as the Queen) and her 21st birthday Commonwealth speech scene. On her 21st birthday, 21 April 1947, Princess Elizabeth was in South Africa with her parents and Princess Margaret on her first Royal tour. In a speech broadcast on the radio from Cape Town, the Princess dedicated her life to the service of the Commonwealth. Claire Foy received her second Primetime Emmy AwardĀ® (Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series) for her performance in this episode. Condition Report Overall in very good condition as used in production. Dress: small pinholes to front where brooch was. A small make-up mark on front by the ruching.
