A late 18th/early 19th century German gold and enamelled box With the Sunray and crossed-S marks, incuse stamped to the flange 5676, Hanau Rectangular with canted corners, the cover with a central enamel panel painted with summer flowers on blue, on an usual champlevé enamel ground of simulated white filigree within a double linear frame, the sides and base with similar decoration, the interior with a later mirror fitted to the cover, in red leather case, , length 7.5cm, weight all-in, including mirror, 80.7gms.
