An East India Company Naval Officer's Sword Circa 1830-40 With curved pipe-back blade (some old rust patination) with double-edged quill point, the forte etched along one side with foliage and the company arms and motto, and along the other with the company arms above a fouled anchor, regulation brass hilt of simulated bars against a stippled ground and incorporating the company arms above a fouled anchor in an oval, folding inner-guard, lion-head pommel and faceted back-piece in one, and wire-bound fishskin-covered grip, in original black leather scabbard (some old damage) with linear engraved brass locket and chape, the former with rounded frog hook 75 cm. blade For further information on this lot please visit Bonhams.com For further information about this lot please visit the lot listing
