A SILVER FILIGREE AND SHIBAYAMA STYLE VASE AND COVER Signed Shigemasa, Meiji period Of bombé form, the silver body inlaid in various coloured enamels with stylised flowers and foliage, six inset ivory panels inlaid in Shibayama style, each with a different combination of birds and flowers, the shoulders surmounted by a pair of dragon handles, the cover with a finial formed as an eagle on a rock. 22cm (8 5/8in) high (3). Footnotes: 明治時代 芝山銀鑲嵌蓋瓶 《茂正刻》款 The item within this lot containing ivory has been registered in accordance with the Ivory Act (Section 10). Ref.DTWCZKY8.
